Purpose is a funny motivation tool. There is some real power in working toward a purpose. In our InVest Group last night I had the pleasure of answering the question “How do we get better at being a living sacrifice?” We talked about learning to hear God’s voice by knowing Him in lieu of knowing about Him. We talked about then taking that first risky step on faith but I failed to mention about how knowing your purpose drives you. It will make you want to be a better follower and servant.

There just is an amazing feeling in knowing your actions are supporting something bigger than you. So Chris is right… you will be activated, your life will be fulfilled (and not boring) when you sell out to Jesus.

Powerful stuff, and so very true. It seems as if you do more before 4 AM than most people do all day !

We all get to sleep at night - some of us more than others. But while we sleep God is still at work. He's never asleep at the wheel. He's always livin' large and fully in charge.

For those non-believers of the world who are asleep at the wheel I pray that you wake up and activate yourself and find some real purpose in your life to change this world for the better. Follow me and my Jesus loving friends. We'll show you the way. We'll take you by the hand and lead you to Him. Don't look back. It's dark behind you. Face the daylight. Proceed.
